HR Generalist II
The South Dakota Board of Regents is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join their Human Resources team. In this role, you will support the daily operations of the HR department, addressing HR-related matters and promoting a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities
Counsel supervisors and managers on HR policies and procedures, performance concerns or office relationships, support the annual performance review process, and guide leaders in creating a positive workplace culture
Maintain accurate HR records and employee files. Utilize HRIS software to manage employee data, track time and attendance, and generate HR-related reports
Support the full recruitment cycle, build relationships with hiring managers, and assist departments in developing advertisement strategies
Qualification
Preferred
Proven experience in Human Resources or a comparable field, preferably as an HR Generalist
Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices
Strong communication skills and experience with difficult conversations
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Strong, proactive problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in HRIS/Data Management and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
