Trego-Dugan Aviation Inc is seeking a Level III Avionics Technician to perform avionics installations independently or with other technicians. The role requires extensive knowledge of avionics repairs, installations, and troubleshooting, while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations.

Responsibilities

Perform avionics installations independently or in collaboration with other technicians

Lead projects from start to finish

Participate in maintenance and installation planning

Remain aware of required parts, components, and materials for upcoming projects

Source equipment or supplies as needed

Maintain a strong understanding of current and upcoming FAA regulations relevant to the avionics industry

Identify aircraft, systems, or components that may be affected by regulatory changes

Demonstrate excellent diligence and consistent adherence to FAA and RSQCM regulations and standards

Identify, address, and provide effective solutions for airworthiness discrepancies

Master Repair Station processes and identify suspected unairworthy parts or installations

Independently conduct research for projects, including STC integration and component compatibility with existing or new avionics systems

Show sustained interest in continued OJT and professional development through AEA, FAA FAST, and other aviation training programs

Have the required experience or previously held a Repairman’s Certificate and is eligible for immediate application as a Repairman
