The role involves serving as a key liaison between residents, faculty, and program leadership while developing leadership and administrative skills in various program management activities.
Responsibilities
Serve as a key liaison between residents, faculty, and program leadership
Develop leadership and administrative skills while overseeing schedules, curriculum, lectures, research, quality improvement initiatives, and simulation lab activities
Gain experience in conflict resolution, institutional policy, and program management under the guidance of the Residency Program Director
Opportunities to engage with the Hospitalist group in a moonlighting role while maintaining full chief responsibilities
Qualification
Required
Graduate of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency program
Eligible for Florida medical licensure
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster effective relationships with residents, faculty, hospital staff, and patients
Candidates should submit CV and USMLE scores for consideration
