Responsibilities
Deliver an exceptional client experience by continuously evaluating touchpoints, addressing root causes of churn, and driving long-term retention and client LTV
Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team that models Evernest’s core values, with clear accountability structures and a culture of continuous improvement
Establish scalable systems and processes that enable operational excellence, efficiency, and sustainable growth across markets
Develop a deep understanding of your team’s roles and responsibilities, and provide strategic guidance that enhances their day-to-day performance and overall efficiency
Own the multifamily business P&L by setting and achieving growth, EBITDA, and margin targets while maintaining cost discipline
Strategically expand the MFR business through market growth, new opportunities, and thoughtful execution of the long-term strategy
Collaborate cross-functionally with data, product, and senior leadership to design reporting, co-author process and technology solutions, and deliver best-in-class outcomes
Engage directly with markets by traveling as needed to support teams, monitor performance, and ensure consistent client outcomes
Represent Evernest externally at conferences, associations, and in publications to strengthen the company’s presence in the multifamily ecosystem
Do all of the above in an efficient and cost effective manner in an organization that’s known for getting more done with less
Must be willing to travel to markets multiple times a month
Qualification
Required
7+ years of multifamily leadership experience at the Regional, Director, or VP level, with direct accountability for portfolio performance
Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams across multiple markets
Track record of driving occupancy, retention, and revenue growth while maintaining financial discipline
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting
Analytical problem-solver who can translate data into clear, actionable decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
