Responsibilities

Responsible for day-to-day laboratory operations at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla
Participate in system committees regarding laboratory services and improvements
Conduct performance evaluations
Oversee regulatory requirements, CAP inspection and Joint Commission preparation
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary leaders
Manage performance improvement metrics, staffing and budgeting
Directly oversee all lab supervisors and leads for a total of about 12 individuals

Qualification

Laboratory managementCLS certificationBachelor's degreeMaster's degreeLeadership experience

Required

Bachelor's degree plus 5 years experience in a laboratory, at least 1 of which in leadership
CLS certification

Preferred

Master's degree preferred
