Aerospace Controls Engineer
PPG's Aerospace Business is seeking a Controls Engineer to handle PLC programming and troubleshooting. The role involves developing RFQs, managing vendors, and ensuring standardization across facilities while maintaining real-time displays of metrics.

Responsibilities
PLC code creation and troubleshooting, and instrumentation integration across the business unit
Develop RFQs, SOW, and directly manage vendors and contractors to coordinate equipment installation
Responsible for project documentation, including technical writing
Implementing aerospace strategic PLCs/SCADA throughout the business unit
Select and install hardware and software
Maintain PLCs/SCADA, ensure standardization across facilities, and ensure real time displays of metrics
Qualification
Required
Only US Citizens, Green Card holders, political asylees, or refugees are eligible to apply
4+ years of PLC programming experience required
PLC interfacing, primarily Allen Bradley
Ability to travel up to 25% if needed
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Software / Manufacturing Engineering preferred
