Tower Engineering Professionals is seeking a full-time Tower Technician II in Elgin, IL. The role involves performing inspections and providing customer service on telecommunications towers, requiring outdoor and climbing skills, as well as adherence to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections, tower mappings and post construction inspections on telecommunications towers
Ability to travel up to five days a week
Must have a labor-intensive attitude and be capable of climbing towers, water tanks or rooftops, and the physical ability and willingness to scan, probe, dig and drill to obtain foundation dimensions and steel reinforcement on guyed, SST, and Monopole Towers
Provide superior customer service while ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely, efficient, accurate, and safe manner
Adhere to all company and industry standard/regulations (OSHA, COMTRAIN, etc.)
Conduct due diligence for multiple projects prior to field work
Review peer work product

Qualification

Telecom experienceClimbing experienceOSHA knowledgeCommunication skillsInterpersonal skills

Required

1+ years of Telecom/Climbing experience required
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing
Good communication and interpersonal skills; self-starter, team player, and results oriented
Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record to operate a company vehicle
