Endocrinology - Research - Assistant or Associate Professor
Cincinnati Children's Office of Academic Affairs and Career Development is seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor research faculty to join a multidisciplinary team focused on clinical care and research for children with endocrine conditions. The role involves directing innovative research and balancing patient care with academic responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Direct innovative and independent research broadly relevant to endocrinology
Divide effort between patient care and academic activities, with research effort varying from 40-70%
Account for clinical responsibilities including outpatient clinics and inpatient service
Supervise the inpatient consultation service
Participate in the training, education and mentoring of fellows, residents and students
Provide outpatient diabetes and endocrine care at the Main Campus and satellite locations
Qualification
Required
Have an MD/DO or MD/PhD and be board eligible or board certified in Pediatric Endocrinology
Have a track record of research including peer-reviewed publications
Be willing to supervise the inpatient consultation service
Participate in the training, education and mentoring of fellows, residents and students
Provide outpatient diabetes and endocrine care at the Main Campus and satellite locations
Those trained in Medicine and Pediatrics are also encouraged to apply
