As a NEPA Project Manager, you will support environmental planning efforts by producing high-quality NEPA documentation and contributing to ecological assessments, while developing client relationships to aid in the growth of the Ecological and Environmental Planning practices.

Responsibilities
Prepare and support NEPA documentation as a technical writer, ensuring high-quality, accurate, and compliant deliverables
Contribute to field-based ecological assessments, including wetland, stream, habitat, and species-related evaluations
Support projects involving wetland and stream delineations, mitigation, and Section 401/404 permitting
Assist with endangered species surveys, ESA strategy and compliance, ecosystem restoration, and invasive plant control efforts
Perform quality assurance/quality control reviews to ensure work products meet CEC standards
Develop internal and external client relationships over time to support growth of the Ecological and Environmental Planning practices
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in Environmental Planning and navigating the NEPA process
Strong technical writer and impact evaluation skills
Resource and stakeholder management skills
Experience working with state and federal regulators and demonstrated understanding of regulations from agencies such as U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Department of Transportation/Federal Highways Administration
Experience in one or more of the following areas delineation and assessment of natural resources (e.g., wetland and waterbody delineation, threatened and endangered species habitat evaluation, etc.) and/or natural resource impact permitting (e.g. Clean Water Act Section 404/401, state-specific permits, local permits, etc.)
