Field Engineer – Audio/Visual

Responsibilities

Responsible for the integration and maintenance activities to support infrastructure, events, experiments, and demonstrations at the LM Center for Innovation (CFI)
Installation, configuration, maintenance, and operation of Audio-Visual hardware/software in a high paced laboratory environment
Use sound technical knowledge and skills along with established processes/tools to maintain systems and solve complex problems
Work closely with other members of the Tech-Ops team to achieve CFI stakeholder objectives
Implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs and policies as directed
Work in an environment requiring interaction with multiple functional areas and personnel of a diverse nature

Required

Experience in systems engineering, integration, and lab operations
Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot anomalies and ensure performance alignment
The ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a focus on mission success
A continuous improvement mindset and strong attention to detail in a dynamic setting

Preferred

Hardware and software support experience in customer lab environment
3-5 years experience with complex A/V systems/environments along with network configuration and troubleshooting experience
Knowledge or experience with Extron/Crestron systems and devices
Experience working in classified/access-controlled facilities
Ability to communicate technical information to internal audiences
