The role involves supporting attorneys through all stages of the claim lifecycle, managing case files, and ensuring accuracy in case management systems.

Responsibilities
Proficient in case management, extremely detailed oriented and supports attorneys through all stages of the claim lifecycle
Working one-on-one with an attorney
Ability to rate and review med-legals is required
Knowledge of EDD/TTD/permanent disability
Calculate retro TTD exposure
Analyze records and how the records apply to a case
Summarize a claim in a concise fashion
Draft case summaries and status reports
Maintain case files and ensure accuracy of data in case management systems
Ability to discern what is important that the attorney needs to address
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in workers' compensation law
Ability to rate and review med-legals
Understanding of EDD/TTD/permanent disability
Ability to calculate retro TTD exposure
Ability to analyze records and how the records apply to a case
Ability to summarize a claim in a concise fashion
Ability to draft case summaries and status reports
Ability to maintain case files and ensure accuracy of data in case management systems
Ability to discern what is important that the attorney needs to address
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred
Knowledge of Merus Case
Paralegal certificate or degree in paralegal studies, legal assistant program, or equivalent
