Responsibilities
Delivering expert maintenance services for both the on-site and off-site facilities of the Farm Show Complex
Maintaining safe and efficient operations throughout the year, particularly during vendor-controlled events and routine maintenance tasks
Ensuring that all systems function optimally and that the environment remains conducive for events and activities
Addressing any maintenance issues that arise, thereby supporting the seamless execution of events and the ongoing functionality of the facilities
Qualification
Required
Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities
This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License
You must be able to perform essential job functions
Preferred
Experience working around animals and livestock and in large-scale public events
