Responsibilities

Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of 805 CTS, ensuring that DOS (Scheduling Flight) complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities
Represents 805 CTS with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with ACC, 99 ABW, 505 CCW, United States Air Force Warfare Center and other joint/coalition agencies

This position may require frequent travel or long periods away from the normal duty station to include CONUS or overseas and may include remote or isolated areas
The employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays and/or overtime
This position may require employee to work under adverse environmental conditions
This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to pre-employment drug testing as a condition of employment and participation in random drug testing
The employee must be able to obtain and retain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). A non-disclosure agreement must be signed
Information Assurance Certification is a factor of employment. This position includes information assurance (IA) work as a paramount duty requirement. Per DoD 8570.01-M, the incumbent of this position may need the appropriate IA certification within six months of assignment of these duties
Failure to receive the proper IA certification may resulting removal from this position
This position has been designated as IA Level II, Security + Certification
This position may require you to complete a supervisory probation
Applicants must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, and Problem Solving AND at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-12, or equivalent in other pay systems
Knowledge of effective planning, scheduling and program management. With knowledge of JADC2, AOC, and cybersecurity operations and requirements
Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures
Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of a small to medium sized organization
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to analyze complexities of existing technology, review/revise/develop policy, initiate plans for enhancements, and provide management sufficient technical and cost analysis information, through written documentation and oral briefings, to render informed judgments
