RESOURCE ANALYST
USAJOBS is seeking a Resource Analyst for the Defense Information Systems Agency at JSO/J8/OFF OF THE CHIEF FINAN OFFICER. Responsibilities
Analyzes and researches financial data; interprets policy and regulations; and reconciles hard copy documents to accounting reports
Researches, explores, analyzes, and coordinates with others to perform studies, assessments, and evaluations of technologies, and policies relating to Agency’s Financials
Provides technical training, guidance, and support to personnel, management, and stakeholders
Responsible for General Fund and Working Capital Funds. He or she provides expert professional and technical advice to the Division and Branch chiefs and agency officials within DISA on accounting and financial management policies and procedures
Provides interpretations and analysis of financial and accounting reports, statements, and other data reflecting the interrelationships between accounting and logistics

This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment

This is a Financial Management Level 2 Certified position
One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade within the federal service
For the GS-07, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service
For the GS-09, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service
For the GS-11, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service
In addition to meeting the specialized experience requirements, qualified applicants must also possess the quality of experience as it relates to how closely or to what extent an applicant's background, recency of experience, education, and training are relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the announced position
Time-in-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement
To be considered for the GS-7, applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-5 or higher in the Federal service
To be considered for the GS-9, applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-7 or higher in the Federal service
To be considered for the GS-11, applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-9 or higher in the Federal service
Qualification and time-in-grade requirements must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement
Education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university

Preferred
Bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement or 1 academic year of graduate education (or law school, as specified in qualification standards or individual occupational requirements)
Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education, or Master's or equivalent graduate degree such as LL.B. or J.D., may be substituted to meet the experience requirement
Three full years of progressively higher level graduate education or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
