Responsibilities
Write high-quality code that is easy to maintain and test
Build TypeScript and JavaScript client code using modern web frameworks and technologies (React + Redux)
Work with UX and Design to standardize and simplify UI development practices
Build modular/reusable UI components
Build and maintain front-end web application infrastructure
Participate in the entire development life cycle, from concept to release
Support strategic code sharing and architecture for one or more functional area
Ensure design and architecture is extensible across multiple projects, and participate in technical design and code reviews
Work cooperatively with product management and design to create features that are scalable and secure
Identify, propose, and implement process improvement to continuously increase the team's productivity and efficiency
Stay current with the latest software engineering best practices and share your findings with the team
Raise issues proactively that might impact delivery commitments
Research new features and technologies
Qualification
Required
10+ years of software development experience
10+ years of web application development
Experience with modern web application technologies (TypeScript, ES6, React/Angular/VueJS, Sass/Less, Node, Next.js etc.)
BS or MS in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent industry experience
Use of Gen AI tools to build Software
Preferred
Experience building design systems and component libraries
10+ years' experience implementing responsive design
10+ years' experience building SaaS web applications
5+ years' experience with web accessibility standards and practices
Experience aligning platform architecture with security and data
Experience with unit testing frameworks
Experience developing, promoting and building consensus across engineering teams
Understanding of web application design principles such as usability, performance, and security
Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
