Director Labor Relations - South Division

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and direction on labor relations services aligned with our strategic priorities and organizational goals
Proactively identify labor relations trends, interpreting and reporting on labor activity to inform strategic actions
Design and implement negotiation strategies, collaborating with legal counsel and HR teams
Prepare contract proposals and oversee the bargaining process and contract implementation
Advise leaders and HR professionals on labor issues, using your expertise to guide decision-making
Develop and implement labor-related communications and training programs for core leaders
Craft strategies to improve caregiver and core leader experiences within the organization
Lead and develop a strong functional team through effective recruiting, training, coaching, and succession planning
Use measurements to predict needs and ensure strategies are aligned with organizational objectives
Embed the organization’s mission throughout the labor relations process

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Organization Development, Industrial Relations, or related field
8 years in leadership roles within a labor environment
10+ years in leadership within complex, multi-location organizations
Proven ability to achieve strategic initiatives, enhance retention, and reduce turnover through effective HR partnerships
Aptitude for resolving complex employee relations and HR challenges with agility
Exceptional communication, presentation, and training skills
Thorough understanding of employment and labor laws, including FLSA, NLRA, ADA, and discrimination/equal employment opportunity regulations
Skillful in adjusting to dynamic environments and managing effective organizational change
Excellent team-building skills and ability to inspire and develop staff

Preferred

Master's Degree
Healthcare experience
