Responsibilities
Lead the organisation’s communications and partnerships in mathematics education
Drive high-impact engagement with government, funders and strategic partners to raise MEI’s profile and support its mission to improve maths learning across the UK
Lead MEI’s communications strategy, public affairs and partnership development
Ensure our mission, impact and value are clearly articulated to key audiences
Help strengthen MEI’s position as a trusted voice in mathematics education
Deepen relationships with funders and partners
Support the organisation’s long‑term sustainability
Qualification
Required
Strong communications expertise
Ability to build high-value partnerships
Experience in leading communications strategy
Experience in public affairs
Experience in partnership development
Ability to articulate mission, impact and value to key audiences
Experience working closely with senior leadership
Motivated by MEI's purpose
Confidence operating at senior levels
Excitement about shaping mathematics education
