Administrative Officer 1
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a motivated Administrative Officer 1 to join their Education School Services Office. This role involves providing essential administrative support to the State Board of Private Academic Schools and managing programs that support eligible students and schools.

Responsibilities
Function as a lead in administering programs by managing allocations disseminated to a variety of units to provide services to eligible students
Determining participation eligibility of schools and eligibility of items that are permitted to be purchased with the allocations
Responsible for analyzing and developing eligibility guidelines
Maintaining documentation of distributed information
Preparing statistical and analytical reports related to state and federal funded programs
Provide administrative support to the State Board of Private Academic Schools to include, but not limited to, onboarding new members
Arranging member travel accommodations and travel reimbursement
Arranging payment for members
Scheduling meetings and catering
Submitting Sunshine Notices
Preparing meeting agendas
Transcribing meeting minutes
Preparing documents presented to the Board
Maintain a thorough knowledge of Board regulations, private school laws, and office procedures in order to provide assistance and respond to general inquiries
Qualification
Required
Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
