As an Engineering Team Lead, you will manage a team of engineers to build and operate web platforms, focusing on both people management and technical leadership to ensure reliable and secure product delivery.

Responsibilities
Manage ~4 engineers through consistent 1:1s, coaching, and actionable feedback
Own performance management, goal setting, and career progression (growth plans, leveling conversations, mentorship)
Lead hiring execution for your team, including structured interview loops and timely feedback
Own delivery, execution, and day-to-day operation of the team: ceremonies, capacity planning, prioritization, and stakeholder communication
Ensure work is planned and executed through clear tickets and ownership
Keep the team unblocked and aligned by translating ambiguity into crisp plans and scoped work
Own day-to-day technical design and infrastructure decisions for your team. This includes partnering with a Staff Engineer for larger cross-cutting design, architecture, and complex incidents
Champion quality and release safety (tests, flags/rollouts where needed, monitoring/alerting) and ensure runbooks exist for common operations/incident response
Ensure your team takes ownership of support and operational work for the domains it builds
Qualification
Required
Prior experience managing engineers (or acting as a lead with significant people management scope), including 1:1s, feedback, and performance conversations
Strong delivery leadership: can run planning, prioritize well, communicate tradeoffs, and keep commitments realistic
Strong technical judgment in modern web systems (bonus if you've worked with ASP.NET Core / C# and TypeScript/JavaScript in production)
Comfort operating systems in cloud environments and modern CI/CD practices (Azure preferred)
Excellent written & verbal communication and a bias for collaboration in a cross-functional, Agile environment
Preferred
Experience with DICOM, HL7/FHIR, or other healthcare standards
Background in security & compliance (HIPAA, SOC 2)
