Identify and source pre-owned vehicles from various channels, including auctions, private sellers, trade-ins, and online platforms
Conduct thorough inspections and evaluations of potential purchases to ensure they meet our quality standards
Negotiate purchase prices with sellers to secure favorable deals for Tucson Subaru
Maintain accurate records of all transactions and vehicle details
Stay up-to-date with market trends, vehicle values, and industry developments to make informed purchasing decisions
Collaborate with the sales and service departments to ensure a seamless process for incoming inventory
Build and maintain relationships with industry contacts to facilitate ongoing vehicle acquisitions
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Car Buyer or in a similar automotive purchasing role
Strong knowledge of vehicle makes, models, market values, and industry trends
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to perform thorough vehicle inspections
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Proficiency in using automotive industry software and online platforms for sourcing vehicles
Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen
