HR Generalist II
The University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law is looking for an HR Generalist II to join their Human Resources team. The role involves supporting daily HR operations, addressing employee relations, maintaining HR data, and assisting in recruitment efforts.

Responsibilities
Counsel supervisors and managers on HR policies and procedures, performance concerns or office relationships, support the annual performance review process, and guide leaders in creating a positive workplace culture
Maintain accurate HR records and employee files
Utilize HRIS software to manage employee data, track time and attendance, and generate HR-related reports
Support the full recruitment cycle, build relationships with hiring managers, and assist departments in developing advertisement strategies
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in Human Resources or a comparable field, preferably as an HR Generalist
Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices
Strong communication skills and experience with difficult conversations
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Strong, proactive problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in HRIS/Data Management and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
