HR Liaison (Administrative Officer 1)

NEOGOV is looking for a detail-oriented administrative professional to join the Department of Environmental Protection as an Administrative Officer 1. This role involves providing administrative support, acting as a liaison for personnel management, and overseeing clerical staff within the regional office.

Responsibilities

Acting as the primary liaison for the Bureau of Human Resources
Addressing all personnel management and administrative issues concerning the staff in the Southeast Region
Providing both technical and administrative oversight to a Clerical Supervisor 2
Serving as the reviewing officer for the Clerical Supervisor's team, which includes a Clerical Assistant 2 in the Human Resources unit tasked with timekeeping and various personnel administrative and clerical duties
Overseeing the front desk receptionist, also a Clerical Assistant 2

Required

Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or any equivalent combination of experience and training
