They are actively seeking a Welder in their Weld Bay Department, responsible for the fabrication and welding of aluminum, steel, and stainless-steel parts using the TIG process in accordance with FAA procedures.

Responsibilities
TIG welding of aluminum, steel, and stainless-steel components based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or drawings by means of TIG welding in all positions including the use of rotary turntables for welding
Set up machines according to work instructions to trim, size, form, inspect, and GTAW (TIG) weld materials to meet drawing requirements
Inspection of welds for accuracy, an inspection of root side weld defects, visual weld inspection using fillet weld gauges, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and final weld fixtures. Weld inspection for weld size, face, and root reinforcement, cracks, inclusions, and porosity
Proficiency in pre-heating and post-heating of weld elements
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and geometric tolerances. Drawing review for compliance for final dimensions, weld note callouts, base material, and filler material selection
Basic mathematic skills include but are not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry, and algebra for calculating material fabrication
Full compliance with the Company’s DOT Antidrug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program
Regular and predictable attendance
