Responsibilities

Ensure delivery of target sales by meeting with customers and maintaining relationships
Recommend service and product enhancements to improve sales potential
Analyze plans and trends to ensure best assignment of territories, clients, and service distribution
Maintain technical and professional knowledge by reviewing professional publications, participating in industry networks, and growing lasting client relationships
Establish sales objectives by projecting expected sales volumes and forecasting
Remain relevant with economic indicators, changing trends, supply and demand shifts, and product mix
Positively contribute to full sales and customer service teams
Develop and collaborate on long- and short-term sales strategies

Physical visits to customer and contractor sites and locations
Ensuring delivery of target sales by meeting with customers
Recommending service and product enhancements to improve sales potential
Analyzing plans and trends to ensure best assignment of territories, clients, and service distribution
Maintaining technical and professional knowledge by reviewing professional publications and participating in industry networks

Preferred

Minimum 2+ years of Outside Sales or Account Management experience
Strong knowledge of lumber, trusses, and exterior building materials
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to establish rapport and build relationships with customers
Highly motivated and results-oriented
Strong negotiation and closing skills
