As a Geotechnical Staff Engineer, you will collaborate with geotechnical and materials testing departments, assisting with projects for public and private sector clients through tasks such as test boring observations and laboratory analysis.

Responsibilities
Test boring/test pit observations
Laboratory analysis
Preparation of geotechnical reports/calculation
Management of field staff
Review of daily field reports
Performance of on-site construction materials testing services
Qualification
Required
BS in Civil Engineering or closely related field
A valid driver's license/ satisfactory driving record accompanied with a reliable vehicle
Ability to meet pre-employment requirements
The ability to (occasionally) work nights, weekends, and travel overnight
To move up to 60-80 pounds (soil and concrete samples, nuclear gauges, etc)
Familiarity with engineering and construction plans/specifications
Preferred
Prior experience with subsurface exploration or construction inspection a plus
EIT working toward PE preferred
Familiarity with geotechnical software (i.e., GeoSystems, Gint, L-Pile, MSEW, etc.) a plus
