Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a Settlement Administrator to join their team. The primary responsibilities include preparing and maintaining settlement disbursement statements, auditing case expenses, and communicating with clients to provide updates. Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate settlement disbursement statements
Audit and reconcile case expenses to ensure accuracy and compliance
Request, track, and organize updated statements for client files
Communicate with clients daily to provide updates and address inquiries
Monitor and update Settlement team regarding documents sent, received, or outstanding
Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned
Perform general administrative duties, including document management and data entry
Qualification
Required
Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to handle sensitive client matters
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to resolve issues proactively
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds on occasion
High school diploma or equivalent required
5-7 years of experience in a plaintiff injury firm with a focus on settlements
Preferred
Experience with QuickBooks preferred
associate or bachelor's degree preferred
