Responsibilities
Oversee and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for business entities, high-net-worth individuals, and multi-state operations
Lead tax planning engagements, identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and guide clients through major decisions
Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients -- providing proactive advice, performance insights, and strategic direction
Manage and mentor staff: reviewing work, building capabilities, and fostering technical development across the team
Strengthen firm-wide processes, implement best practices, and support modernization and efficiency initiatives
Collaborate with accounting, advisory, and operational teams to deliver an integrated service experience
Conduct and supervise tax research, interpret evolving tax laws, and craft advisory recommendations
Qualification
Required
CPA required
8-12+ years of progressive tax experience, ideally in public accounting with an advisory-heavy focus
Strong leadership presence -- someone who communicates clearly, builds trust, and leads with integrity
Mastery in tax planning for pass-through entities, corporations, and high-net-worth individuals
Ability to translate complex tax concepts into clear, actionable advice for business owners
