Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and assist senior technicians on various repairs with McLaren, Lamborghini, Lotus, Rolls-Royce and Aston Martin and off brand vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards
Learn and retain skills involved in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues using dealership-provided diagnostic equipment
Use technical manuals, diagrams, and computerized systems to accurately and efficiently help complete repairs and services
Learn to work within a DMS and keep detailed records of all work done, including parts lists and labor time
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols and precautions
Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians to ensure seamless and timely completion of repairs
Learn necessary steps and skills to execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Qualification
Required
ASE Certified or technical school experience required
High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification a plus
Some form of experience with mechanical work on cars
Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
Excellent customer service skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and guidelines
Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
Availability to work weekends and overtime as needed
Preferred
Proficient in computer use and shop equipment preferred, with knowledge of modern automotive systems and technology
Opportunity is for exposure to all exotic brands we represent, independent shop or lube tech experience is a huge plus
