Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Sales Manager will own revenue growth and market share through direct sales and distribution channels while driving strategic account penetration and delivering accurate forecasting across key industries.

Responsibilities

Build and execute regional business plans and quotas; deliver orders, revenue, and margin targets
Maintain a healthy pipeline with accurate weekly/monthly/quarterly forecasting; manage funnel conversion and win rates
Lead competitive displacement and value-based selling from opportunity identification to deal closure
Develop and grow strategic and enterprise accounts; map and influence technical and commercial stakeholders
Orchestrate sales with Application/Field Engineers for demos, evaluations, and PoC to increase win probability
Lead commercial negotiations, pricing and discount strategy within policy to protect margin and T&Cs compliance
Manage, support, and expand the regional distributor network; define and execute channel strategy and policies
Drive partner performance management, target setting, enablement and certification, joint marketing (MDF), and opportunity collaboration
Resolve channel conflict and ensure territory coverage, pipeline hygiene, and execution discipline
Monitor test and measurement market dynamics, competitors, and pricing; translate insights into win strategies
Plan and execute seminars, roadshows, trade shows, and digital campaigns with Marketing to generate qualified leads
Provide structured feedback to Product and Marketing on customer needs, feature requests, and industry trends
Enforce CRM discipline (e.g., Salesforce) and data quality; document repeatable sales plays and references
Manage demo and evaluation inventory for optimal utilization and ROI

Required

Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Communications, Physics, Measurement/Control, or related
5+ years of sales experience in electronics/electrical or test and measurement industries with quantifiable overachievement
5+ years of territory/region ownership and project/solution selling; proven success in both direct and channel motions
Channel experience managing distributors
Hands-on familiarity with oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, RF instruments, power supplies/loads, or related T&M products
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, communication, and negotiation/influence skills; results-oriented and self-motivated
Proficient in territory planning, pipeline management, and forecasting; data-driven with strong CRM proficiency
Effective cross-functional collaboration with Sales, FAE, Marketing, Product, and Service; high execution under pressure

Preferred

MBA or business training is a plus
Experience deploying global channel policies is a plus
Experience with brands such as Tektronix, Keysight or R&S is preferred
