Responsibilities

Design and implement a comprehensive therapeutic recreation program that enhances the social, physical, and emotional well-being of participants

Conduct assessments

Participate in interdisciplinary care planning

Oversee daily recreational activities—ranging from group events and community outings to individualized therapeutic interventions

Qualification

Required

Fluency in Chinese, Spanish, or Vietnamese required

At least 2 years of experience in a social recreational or educational program within the past 5 years, including 1 year in a healthcare, mental health, or disabilities program setting

Minimum 1 year of experience working with frail or elderly populations

Bachelor's degree in Recreational/Art/Music/Dance Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or related human services field

Current BLS and First Aid certification

Knowledge of activity programming tailored to older adults
