Mid LevelVisual Sound Inc is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a previous A/V background for their Broomall, PA office. This role will oversee the entire lifecycle of audio-visual projects, acting as the main liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure project success.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the supervision of all personnel and activities on project site
Oversees each project from the awarding stage through final project completion
Obtains and reads all contract documents including, but not limited to: bid drawings and specifications, contract, project workbook, subcontractor scopes of work, and construction schedule
Acquires a thorough understanding of project requirements and objectives including, but not limited to: contractual, financial, technical, schedule, construction coordination, materials, personnel, and scope of work
Coordinates all in-house activities associated with project execution, including but not limited to: submittals, engineering, fabrication and installation, programming, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting
Creates and manages the project schedule
Functions as the focal point for internal and external project communication and documentation
Coordinates activities with general contractor, construction manager, owner and other trades as required
Coordinates with Manager of Installation to schedule personnel for installation
Cooperatively manages and monitors the labor expenditures of engineering, fabrication and installation personnel over the course of the project and communicate any issues that impact profitability
Generates and/or responds to construction communication including, but not limited to: requests for information, change order documents, room readiness letters, delay or compression notification of theft or damage to materials, tools or vehicles, safety or injury reports, warranty information, material handoff or inventory, punch lists, field reports, sign-off documents or other documentation as assigned or required
Proactively manages the change order process
Regularly inspects installation work performed by staff and/or subcontractors
Tests or certifies the performance of the installed systems
Ability to work overtime when required
Qualification
Required
Previous A/V background
Experience in project management
Ability to oversee the entire lifecycle of audio-visual projects
Strong understanding of project requirements and objectives including contractual, financial, technical, schedule, construction coordination, materials, personnel, and scope of work
Experience in coordinating in-house activities associated with project execution
Ability to create and manage project schedules
Strong communication skills for internal and external project communication and documentation
Experience in coordinating activities with general contractors, construction managers, owners, and other trades
Ability to manage and monitor labor expenditures of engineering, fabrication, and installation personnel
Experience in generating and responding to construction communication
Ability to proactively manage the change order process
Experience in inspecting installation work performed by staff and/or subcontractors
Ability to test or certify the performance of installed systems
Ability to work overtime when required
