K-12 Account Manager
Visual Sound Inc is seeking a K-12 Account Manager with a B2C background in technology sales to join their Broomall, PA office. This role is responsible for generating new customer revenues with mid-to large sized public school districts and managing a territory to achieve established sales and profit targets.

Responsibilities
Accelerate sales growth within an assigned territory targeting large school districts
Achieve revenue and gross profit objectives
Assist with revenue generation, when necessary, with smaller districts
Develop business through new customer development
Maximize overall performance utilizing ?effort-based? metrics such as frequency of contact, account penetration, forecasting, building a pipeline, and customer retention
Conduct 10 to 12 in-person sales calls with district decision makers per week
Utilize a consultative sales approach to guide districts to technology solutions that best fit their needs
Use a CRM to record sales activities, enter opportunities, and create proposals
Develop an understanding of technology products and services provided by Visual Sound, Inc
Provide director of K12 sales with a monthly sales forecast
Attend all sales meetings
Qualification
Required
B2C background in technology sales
Experience generating new customer revenues with mid-to large sized public school districts and select private school organizations
Ability to manage a territory and achieve established sales and gross profit targets
Proven background in prospecting, hunting, and opening new doors
Strong focus on exceeding sales revenue targets
Ability to foster valuable customer relationships
Experience in expanding the customer base
Enhancing professional selling skills
Ability to conduct 10 to 12 in-person sales calls with district decision makers per week
Utilize a consultative sales approach to guide districts to technology solutions
Experience using a CRM to record sales activities, enter opportunities, and create proposals
Understanding of technology products and services provided by Visual Sound, Inc
Ability to provide director of K12 sales with a monthly sales forecast
Willingness to attend all sales meetings
Preferred
Previous experience in A/V or technology sales within educational markets
