Responsibilities
You will be responsible for support and maintenance of downstream product quality firmware of Arm Neoverse CSS based platform solutions
You will serve as the primary interface for all customer support and maintenance needs
Your responsibilities will include defect management, feature back porting, and issue resolution to ensure timely and high-quality customer work
You will also collaborate closely with the release team to coordinate and deliver downstream release updates to customers following product launches
You will be working alongside firmware development team in supplying to the design and development of solutions for Arm Neoverse CPU and System IP based Infrastructure platforms
You will provide technical leadership and line management of a distributed support and maintenance team
Qualification
Required
Expert in C programming for embedded systems with excellent debugging skills
Experience in development and maintenance of product quality firmware with good knowledge of bootloaders and device drivers
Good understanding and experience maintaining software following industry specifications such as UEFI, ACPI, and IPMI
Engineering management experience leading a team with multifaceted strengths spread across multiple locations
Familiarity with technologies such as RAS, hypervisors, PCIe, DDR/HBM, CXL, power management and security
Familiarity with low-speed IO protocols such as I2C, SPI, I3C and UART!
Preferred
Experience in providing support and maintenance of production quality firmware in server segment
Familiarity with system architecture principles (preferably Arm)
Experience in working with open-source community. We value understanding of open-source project development cycles and contribution processes
Providing customer support in triaging and resolving reported issues
Familiarity with open-source projects such as Linux Kernel, TF-A, UEFI EDK II and OpenBMC
