Responsibilities

Implement and operate a raw document ingestion pipeline and freshness scheduler(e.g. S3 + SQS / EventBridge / Lambda or equivalent)

Build and extend backend APIs (Flask / FastAPI) to support:

Page claiming and editing

Authentication (Google / LinkedIn SSO, magic links)

Role-based access control and usage tracking

Own delivery of the Next (TypeScript + MUI) admin dashboard:

Asset review workflows

User roles and permissions

Usage and system analytics

Integrate the semantic search API into the UI

Implement SEO-critical mechanics

Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Jenkins)

Deploy and operate services on AWS using Docker + Helm (EKS or ECS)

Add lightweight platform protections (rate limiting, basic bot mitigation)

Monitor system health

Proactively surface risks, scaling concerns, and implementation trade-offs

Translate specs into working systems

Propose alternatives with clear trade-offs

Escalate ambiguity early rather than guessing

Required

Experience shipping and operating production-grade full-stack systems

Comfortable owning execution across backend, frontend, and infrastructure

Ability to work from defined constraints and deliver reliably

Clear communication skills, ability to surface risks early, and avoid over-engineering

Hands-on experience and accountability for delivered products

Proficiency in Python (Flask + FastAPI)

Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis

Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React, TypeScript, and MUI

Experience with Docker, Helm, and AWS (S3, Cognito/Auth0, EKS/ECS)

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins

Ability to implement and operate a raw document ingestion pipeline and freshness scheduler

Experience building and extending backend APIs

Ability to own delivery of the Next (TypeScript + MUI) admin dashboard

Experience integrating semantic search APIs into the UI

Ability to implement SEO-critical mechanics

Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
