Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections of fire protection to ensure compliance with safety standards
Perform maintenance and servicing of fire extinguishers, including recharging, repairing, and replacing components as needed
Document all service work performed and maintain accurate records of inspections and maintenance activities
Educate clients on the proper use and maintenance of fire extinguishers and other fire protection systems
Schedule and manage service appointments with clients in a timely and professional manner
Stay updated on safety regulations and compliance standards related to fire protection and extinguishing systems

Qualification

Fire protection systemsNFPA standardsOSHA regulationsTroubleshooting skillsCustomer service skillsCommunication skills

Required

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in fire protection systems preferred
Experience in servicing and inspecting fire extinguishers or related equipment
Knowledge of NFPA standards and OSHA regulations
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Willing to take on-call phone calls, as needed
