Responsibilities
Lead SAP PS blueprinting, configuration, and deployment for project-based delivery and revenue scenarios
Configure WBS structures, networks, milestones, cost planning, budgeting, and settlement
Support project execution, billing, and financial close processes within S/4HANA
Enable milestone billing, resource-related billing, and results analysis aligned to revenue recognition needs
Integrate PS with FI, CO, SD, MM, and Asset Accounting
Design and configure SAP RAR in compliance with ASC 606 / IFRS 15
Map performance obligations, standalone selling prices (SSP), allocation rules, and event-based revenue recognition
Integrate RAR with SAP SD and PS for project-based and contract-based revenue scenarios
Support contract modifications, variable consideration, and revenue adjustments
Ensure accurate posting to FI, reconciliation, and audit-ready reporting
Conduct fit-gap workshops with Finance, PMO, Commercial, and Compliance teams
Translate business requirements into SAP functional and technical specifications
Collaborate with ABAP and integration teams for enhancements, interfaces, and data migration
Provide user training, UAT support, and go-live stabilization
Support SOX, audit, and regulatory reporting requirements specific to medical devices
Ensure alignment with validated systems, GxP considerations, and internal controls
Assist with month-end and quarter-end close related to project and revenue accounting
Qualification
Required
8+ years of SAP functional experience with SAP Project Systems (PS)
3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR)
Strong knowledge of ASC 606 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition principles
Experience in medical devices, life sciences, or regulated manufacturing environments
Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations or conversions
Deep understanding of PS-FI-CO-SD integration
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Authorized to work in the U.S
Preferred
Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public or Private Cloud
Knowledge of SAP SD Contracts, BRIM, or Advanced Intercompany
Exposure to Fiori apps related to PS and RAR
Prior experience supporting FDA-regulated or validated SAP landscapes
SAP certifications in PS, RAR, or S/4HANA Finance
