Responsibilities
Becomes familiar with the assigned project plans and specifications in order to assist the engineer with the project
Assist in processing RFI's, Submittals (collects from subcontractors and distributes to architects/engineers/consultants)
Preparing technical reports and calculations
Compiling documentation
Assisting with the preparation and interpretation of plans and specifications
Interacting with clients, designers, owners, contractors, inspectors, and authorities to support project activities
Monitoring project communications between contractor, Owner, and Engineer
Attending construction and related project meetings and developing and distributing timely meeting agendas and minutes
Maintains logs, reflecting the status of shop drawings, requests for clarification, change requests, and proposal requests
Assist in ensuring appropriate materials are available for the preparation of the project
Qualification
Required
Individuals enrolled in an educational program
Must be able to pass controlled substance tests prior to and at all times during employment
