Responsibilities
Assist with routine financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in general ledger entries and reconciliations
Maintain and monitor customer account records and assist in preparing periodic account summaries and reports
Support vendor management, invoice processing, and expense classification
Help prepare financial documentation and assist with month-end close procedures
Participate in routine compliance tasks and assist with external reporting needs
Maintain documentation for financial procedures and support improvements in accounting workflows
Contribute to the accuracy and timeliness of internal systems and reports
Support audit readiness and recordkeeping best practices
Coordinate incoming payments and documentation
Monitor and manage office supply inventories
Handle general administrative tasks and help keep day-to-day operations running smoothly
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in accounting support (AP/AR) or finance operations
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Advanced proficiency with Excel and G Suite (Sheets, Docs, Gmail, Drive)
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage high volumes accurately
Able to identify problems and take initiative to solve them without waiting to be told
Comfortable working on-site in a focused, fast-moving office environment in Mount Prospect, IL
