InProduction is a leading provider of temporary seating, staging, structures, and scenic production for the events industry in the United States. The Warehouse Manager will effectively manage a 50,000 square foot facility and oversee the workflow of 10-15 employees, ensuring efficiency and safety in warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

Setting standards, goals, and schedules based on labor availability, and workload

Overseeing picking, shipping and receiving to ensure that schedules are met

Organizing the warehouse to maximize efficiency and control waste

Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security

Assure that a safe work environment is maintained, and employees follow safety procedures

Coordinate warehouse activities with Inventory, and Operations Managers

Hire, train, and evaluate warehouse workers; monitor workers to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements

Identify and utilize methods in the warehouse process to become more efficient and effective (reducing waste, using Lean)

Direct corrective actions of any warehouse problems that may arise; work with Operations Managers / Directors in development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions

Liaise with suppliers and transport companies

Plan / determine optimal utilization of warehouse workers and equipment to meet company goals. Keeping a clean and organized warehouse

Schedule department staff to maximize efficiency

Perform yearly evaluations for direct reports

Perform other duties as assigned

Keep records of employees' attendance and hours worked
