The General Accounting Clerk I assists the Controller in office operations, ensuring compliance with company policies while managing various accounting tasks such as financial reporting and account reconciliation.

Responsibilities

Matches invoices to proper receiving tickets from the Receiving Clerk

Distribution of Payroll Checks

Prepares financial reports including bank deposits, cashier sheets, etc

Reconciles Cash Disbursement, Payroll and outstanding bank accounts

Prepares Managers Report

Analyzes General Ledger Accounts

Maintains cleanliness of work area

Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)

Performance of other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures
