Responsibilities
Prepare and final-sign complex 1040s (multi-state, rentals, Schedule C, S-corp, partnerships)
Perform final review on returns prepared by others and coach the team
Spot and execute planning opportunities (bunching, Roth conversions, entity selection, QBI optimization, cost-seg, etc.)
Represent clients in audits, collections, OIC, installment agreements, penalty abatement
Work directly with high-net-worth individuals, business owners, trustees, and their attorneys
Qualification
Required
Active Enrolled Agent (CPA also welcome)
2+ years of final sign-off authority on 1040s and small-business returns
3+ years preparing/reviewing 100+ returns annually (full-cycle, not seasonal only)
Proven experience handling IRS notices, audits, or collections cases yourself
You must be able to explain the 'why' behind positions, not just the 'how'
No disciplinary history with IRS Office of Professional Responsibility

100% remote (U.S. only, Eastern or Central time preferred)
