Account Executive
Responsibilities
Develop and execute territory strategies focused on expanding existing accounts and identifying new opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and executive leadership
Lead account planning efforts in partnership with customers, aligning priorities and success metrics
Identify opportunities for cross-selling and additional services that support customer goals
Serve as the primary point of contact and advocate for assigned practices
Anticipate customer needs, respond quickly to issues, and drive resolution across internal teams
Establish recurring customer touchpoints and feedback mechanisms
Position oneself as a knowledgeable industry partner and thought leader
Build and maintain a high-quality sales pipeline
Improve deal size, win rates, and sales velocity
Deliver accurate forecasts and analyze outcomes to inform future strategy
Understand customer decision drivers, financial considerations, and operational impact
Present financial data and performance insights to support informed decision-making
Lead Quarterly Business Reviews and interpret trends to drive mutual growth
Monitor industry trends, reimbursement dynamics, and competitive positioning
Clearly articulate solution differentiation and value proposition
Coordinate closely with operations, finance, contracts, legal, customer care, and sales partners
Ensure alignment across internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless customer experience
Maintain accurate documentation and activity tracking in CRM systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
4+ years of experience in account management, customer retention, or consultative sales
Proven ability to manage long-term customer relationships and contract negotiations
Strong presentation and communication skills, including financial discussions
Experience using CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred)
Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory
Preferred
Healthcare experience, ideally within oncology or specialty practices
Familiarity with buy-and-bill models and pharmaceutical products
Understanding of payer dynamics, reimbursement trends, and private practice operations
Experience conducting executive-level meetings and business reviews
SAP experience and strong analytical capabilities
