Responsibilities

Independently manage a full caseload of complex general liability and auto litigation matters
Analyze legal and factual issues and develop sound defense strategies
Draft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery, and legal memoranda
Conduct and defend depositions; prepare witnesses and experts
Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings
Provide timely legal guidance to internal claims partners
Communicate professionally with courts, opposing counsel, insureds, and internal stakeholders
Maintain compliance with internal procedures and performance expectations

Required

JD from an accredited law school
Active bar admission in Massachusetts and Rhode Island
Minimum 7 years of experience handling general liability and/or auto liability litigation
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently
Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in a remote environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems

Preferred

Active bar admission in New Hampshire
