Responsibilities

Lead, develop, and mentor the Government Pricing & Contract Compliance team, fostering a culture of compliance, innovation, and continuous improvement. Oversee internal and outsourced teams responsible for government pricing calculations and methodologies

Partner with Legal, Contract Operations, Value & Access, Commercial FP&A, and GTN to ensure data integrity, system accuracy, and alignment on pricing strategies. Provide government pricing impact assessments for GTN modeling, forecasting, accruals, bid assessments, and product launches. Represent Government Pricing in strategic pricing committees and cross-functional initiatives

Direct all government price reporting calculations and submissions, including AMP, BP, Non-FAMP, FCP, ASP, 340B, FSS, VA, and related programs. Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to CMS, VA/DoD, and state Medicaid agencies. Maintain comprehensive compliance documentation (e.g., Reasonable Assumptions, SOPs, calculation checklists). Serve as subject matter expert on federal pricing regulations and methodologies. Ensure all proposed policy rules coming from the government regarding lower drug pricing proposals, including the recent CMMI demonstration projects and related Most Favored Nation (MFN) proposals are implemented to the highest quality

Ensure full compliance with Medicaid, Medicare, VA Healthcare Act, MFN, and all relevant pricing regulations. Maintain and update policies in response to business or regulatory changes, partnering with Legal and external counsel as needed. Support audits, litigation responses, and maintain a strong controls environment

Drive enhancements to pricing methodologies, automation tools, and dashboards to improve accuracy, efficiency, and executive reporting. Serve as the owner for revenue management systems (e.g., Model N), overseeing user training, system updates, and UAT requirements

Identify and lead process improvement initiatives and support special projects as assigned. Stay abreast of industry trends, policy changes, and regulatory updates, evaluating their impact on pricing strategy and compliance

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Policy, Healthcare, or related field required

Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with significant experience in government pricing, contract compliance, or related functions

Demonstrated leadership and team management experience, including managing outsourced teams

Deep expertise in U.S. Federal and State Pricing Programs (Medicaid, Medicare, VA/DoD, PHS/340B) and related regulations

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills; proficiency in Excel, Model N, SAP, and revenue management systems

Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with experience engaging senior leadership and cross-functional teams

High ethical standards, attention to detail, and a commitment to compliance and continuous improvement

Preferred

MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred

Prior large pharma experience

Experience with product launches, lifecycle pricing strategy, and heavily contracted therapeutic areas

Familiarity with Medicaid Supplemental Rebates, State Price Transparency Laws, and FMV analysis

Experience interfacing with CMS, VA, and/or external auditors
