Cyber Security Specialist
SoTalent is looking for a seasoned Senior Manager with broad cybersecurity expertise to join their Customer Trust & Field Security organization. This role supports sales and business development by serving as the security authority for customer-facing engagements and translates the organization’s security, privacy, and compliance posture into compelling messaging for prospective customers.
Responsibilities
Expand and enhance customer-facing trust resources, including self-service access to security, privacy, and compliance materials
Serve as a trusted security partner to customer IT and security leaders during evaluations and decision-making
Support sales and account teams with expert security guidance in customer meetings and presentations
Align cybersecurity messaging with business outcomes to support sales acceleration
Develop standardized security messaging, objection handling, and playbooks for go-to-market teams
Represent the organization in external security and technology discussions
Contribute to best-practice conversations and help position solutions as industry-leading
Lead responses to security and compliance sections of customer RFIs and RFPs
Support customer security assessments and third-party risk reviews with accurate, timely information
Partner with engineering, legal, compliance, risk, and security teams to ensure accuracy and alignment
Maintain up-to-date security policies, certifications, and compliance documentation
Analyze trends in customer security questions to improve documentation and proactive communication
Share insights on cybersecurity trends and customer expectations to influence product roadmap decisions
Qualification
Required
7+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity or information security with broad, cross-domain expertise
4+ years in customer-facing or advisory roles supporting senior IT or security leaders
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, privacy, data protection, and compliance frameworks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Proven ability to collaborate and influence across technical and business teams
Preferred
Experience building or scaling customer trust or transparency programs
3+ years supporting third-party risk management initiatives
Strong business acumen and comfort aligning security value to business outcomes
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CIPP/E, or Security+
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), cybersecurity tools, and modern data platforms
