Responsibilities
Identify, solicit, and secure new commercial lines business through prospecting, referrals, and networking
Evaluate client risks, recommend coverage solutions, and tailor insurance programs to eliminate gaps
Deliver exceptional service, manage renewals, and strengthen retention through proactive communication
Contribute to sales plans, achieve growth targets, and maintain a profitable book of business
Negotiate with carriers and underwriters to secure competitive terms and ensure compliance with underwriting standards
Qualification
Required
Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required
3-5 years of commercial insurance sales or account management experience focused on property and casualty lines
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems, with familiarity in social media prospecting platforms for lead generation
Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, underwriting processes, and risk management principles
Motivated sales professional with strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, organized and goal-oriented
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred
