Responsibilities
Serve as the Purchase Requisition (PR) Technical Screener, acting as the liaison between vendors and internal requestors
Process approved material orders and service contract procurement actions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standard procedures
Conduct product research on vendor websites as requested by engineers and planners
Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, SAP, and Coupa to create and maintain reports and spreadsheets tracking incoming materials
Monitor delivery schedules and follow up on existing orders in coordination with warehouse personnel
Communicate with suppliers regarding late deliveries and resolve related issues
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of one year of experience in procurement, inventory management, or customer service, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, SAP, Coupa, and related software
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization
Adaptability to changing priorities and environments
Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on timely support
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) prior to employment
Ability to pass a drug screening test and refinery safety overview (RSO) training prior to employment
Must meet eligibility requirements to work in the U.S. without employer-sponsored visa support
