American Family Insurance is seeking an External Sales Advisor to support efforts in protecting customers with life insurance. The role involves collaborating with agents, driving sales through various distribution models, and providing coaching and recommendations to enhance sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

Communicate product sales opportunities, product or procedure enhancements
Implement life strategies to help increase life sales with distribution partners
Recognize and provide recommendations or solutions when working with distribution partners, both internal and external
Provide coaching on prospecting, sales skill, and product knowledge to distribution partners
Assist agents with book of business reviews to identify immediate and potential sales opportunities
Have knowledge of life insurance products and riders
May be required to complete other assignments or participate in projects based upon skills, achievements, or experience

Required

Self-Motivated, prior sales experience with strong communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively to manage multiple projects with a strong desire to succeed in a team environment
Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service
Demonstrated effective experience leading people and/or projects; or, demonstrated effective leadership experience
Must have or obtain proper Life insurance license within three months of hire
CLU, designation must be obtained within 3 years
Resident Life license within 30 days of hire
Non-resident Life license within 90 days of hire
Valid driver's license required plus an acceptable driving record
