Responsibilities
Actively participates and contributes to cross-functional project teams, supporting activities such as process design and development, material testing, specification preparation, process capability studies, report preparation, and process/test documentation
Independently plans, prioritizes, and schedules work to meet project timelines
Designs and coordinates standard engineering tests and experiments
Designs, procures, and fabricates tooling and fixtures as required
Troubleshoots issues related to new products or processes, including design, material, or process-related problems
Analyzes test data, summarizes findings, and draws technical conclusions
Prepares standard technical reports and documentation to communicate results to the broader technical community
Maintains and manages engineering documentation in compliance with internal standards
Develops new concepts and designs for products or processes and submits idea disclosures as appropriate
May train and/or provide work direction to technicians
Collaborates effectively with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, and Marketing teams to ensure project success
Demonstrates knowledge of PDP/TPD systems through the delivery of high-quality, compliant deliverables
Builds quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance with all applicable quality system requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with 2–4 years of experience, or
Master's degree with 0–2 years of experience
Degree in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, or Biomedical Engineering
Ability to demonstrate competency in current systems and tools relevant to prior experience
Strong problem-solving skills
Effective verbal and written communication
Initiative and willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Preferred
Experience using Windchill
