Responsibilities

Assist with patient care under the supervision of the RN

Maintain the procedure room set up, equipment care and maintenance

Assist with specimen collection & disinfection of instruments

Assist physicians during procedures

Room patients and take vitals

Qualification

CPR BLS certificationPatient care experienceBasic knowledge of anatomyBasic computer experienceTake vitals

Required

Experience as a Patient Care Tech, Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant highly preferred

CPR BLS issued by the American Heart Association

Basic knowledge of physiology, anatomy & medical terminology required

Basic computer experience

Ability to take vitals and perform CPR
